Clean up fun downtown on Saturday
If you're in the Parrsboro 'hood tomorrow, dust off your rakes, grab your gardening gloves and head on downtown tomorrow for Community Cleanup Day. The event starts at 10:30 at the Town Hall and includes food! (what Parrsboro event doesn't?) hotdogs, pop, T-shirts for helpers
A great chance to visit with fellow Parrsboroians of all ages and to grow even more civic pride in our pretty town. Starts 10:30.
Whether you're a current Parrsborian (yes, that's what we call ourselves), a live-away with Parrsboro roots, a summer resident or a first time visitor...welcome! I hope this blog will help you discover this great little coastal town on the Bay of Fundy on the eastern edge of Canada.
Got a question about Parrsboro? Got a photo you'd like to share? Interested in doing a 'guest post'? email me at bayoffundy@gmail.com - I'd love to hear from you!
So here I was on the Bay of Fundy, minding my own business, when I realized that normal people don't get to see 100 billion tonnes of seawater flowing back and forth in front of their kitchen windows every day. As someone who has grown up living and working here, I've taken it upon myself to blog my experiences with the highest tides on the planet.
